About Quarry Lane Stables

Quarry Lane Stables is owned and operated by Morgan Cooper. Morgan and her family have invested in producing quality children's hunter ponies for over 30 years. With a breeding program focused on conformation, aptitude, versatility, and character, Quarry Lane ponies are proven winners on the line and at the highest performance levels.

Morgan grew up on her family farm at the foot of the Niagara Escarpment in Inglewood, Ontario. Summer days were spent introducing young ponies to all kinds of adventures. They swam in the Credit River, hacked the Bruce Trail, and fox hunted with the Eglington and Caledon Hunt. Participation in Canadian Pony Club events, local fairs, and schooling shows ensured the ponies entered the show ring with experience and confidence.

Morgan continues to apply the same pedagogy and teaching strategy shared by her mother; quiet and consistent exposure to a wide range of applied horsemanship activities. Quarry Lane ponies are bred and raised willingly served their owner whatever journey their young riders choose.
